Five Second Rule

Today on the Teen Nugget we explore how five-second decisions we make can have a deep impact on our lives. One wrong split-second decision can derail so many good things we have worked to create. Today Mike talks about how to handle these decisions and what happens when we fail.

Questions:
1. Parent, was there ever a time when you were tempted as a teen? What about as an adult?
2. How could split-second decisions impact the rest of your life?
3.Parent, do you think it is true that five-second mistakes can often have a bigger impact than five-second triumphs? Why? why not?
4. How might our emotions impact our split-second decision-making?
5. What should we do when we make a split-second decision that is wrong?
6. Why do we sometimes struggle to admit it when we make poor bad decisions?
